Fire Instructor III (40 hours)
This course is designed around classroom lectures and group interactive exercises to improve your abilities to serve as a fire instructor. This includes Instructor III - specific responsibilities including the administration of AHJ policies and procedures for the management of instructional resources, staff, facilities, records, and reports. Skills taught include planning, developing, and implementing comprehensive fire service training programs.

The Illinois Society of Fire Service Instructors (The Society) Fire Service Instructor III program is designed to meet and exceed the requirements outlined by the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) and NFPA 1041. This course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills for successful certification as an Illinois OSFM Fire Service Instructor III. The Instructor III course satisfies the requirements of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1041, Chapter 6. *Note: OSFM Exam: Students must schedule Pierson View Examination Fire Service Instructor 3 (Jones & Bartlett Publisher.). |
